Dr. Coords is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and specializes in cardiac CT and MRI imaging. Prior to joining SimonMed Dr. Coords served as the Chief Medical Officer at MST Medical Education and the Director of Cardiac Imaging for a large radiology practice. He has a long dedicated career in medical education and continues teaching as a clinical faculty member at the University of California – Riverside and working closely with multiple radiology residency programs offering board review focusing on Cardiac Imaging.
Dr. Coords has extensive experience with advanced cardiac imaging with a focus on coronary artery disease prevention/early detection and monitoring plaque changes in response to non-invasive treatments. He works closely with AI companies on new technologies and software development to improve patient outcomes and radiologist accuracy/efficiency.
