Personalized Breast Cancer Detection (PBCD) is an optional add-on to your mammogram and is not currently covered by insurance. However, at SimonMed, we aim to provide the best possible care at affordable rates, which is why we offer PBCD for $40.
Personalized Breast Cancer Detection (PBCD) costs $40. At SimonMed, we are committed to providing the best technology and care at affordable rates. Although PBCD is not covered by insurance, we are proud to offer this additional service to make it as accessible as possible.
When you add Personalized Breast Cancer Detection (PBCD) to your screening mammogram, you’ll receive several additional benefits alongside a 3D mammogram with AI. These include a breast density report with AI, expedited reporting, a personal risk assessment and probability score, and a personalized action plan. These tools help you detect signs of cancer earlier and enable you to implement a proactive prevention plan, ensuring peace of mind and maintaining your health.
You can schedule a screening mammogram with Personalized Breast Cancer Detection (PBCD) online or by calling 844-403-1715. If you’ve already scheduled your mammogram and want to add PBCD, you can log into your patient portal to select the “Personalized Breast Cancer Detection” add-on, or simply tell the front desk staff at check-in that you would like to add it to your appointment.
You will receive your PBCD letter, which includes your personalized breast health report, unique risk assessment score and customized action plan within 24 hours of your appointment via email.
The frequency of mammograms varies for each patient, but PBCD can be included with each screening.
If you didn’t choose PBCD when scheduling, you can add it at check-in. PBCD doesn’t extend the duration or add any extra procedures to your appointment. The experience will be the same as a traditional mammogram. Within 24 hours of your appointment, you’ll receive a PBCD letter via email and/or text message, which includes your personalized breast health report, unique risk assessment score, and customized action plan.
