Patient Policy

At SimonMed, we work hard to make scheduling convenient and to ensure appointment times are available when you need them. Missed appointments without notice prevent us from serving other patients who may be waiting.

To improve access and reduce missed appointments, SimonMed has adopted the following policy:

Standard Policy

• A $50 no-show fee may be charged if:
  
  • You miss your scheduled appointment, or
  • You cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice.
• This fee is your responsibility and is not covered by insurance.

Exemptions

The following patients and situations are not subject to no-show fees:

• Medicaid patients
• Workers’ Compensation patients.
• Patients scheduled at SimonMed facilities in California, Illinois, Colorado, or New York
• Personal Injury cases.
